Johnni Flesner - Hospital Manager

I majored in accounting in college, then worked in the accounting and administrative management fields. I have been with AEUC for 18 years.

I'm married, have a son, a daughter-in-law, and 2 adorable granddaughters.

Pets: 3 dogs- Daisy, Buddy & Suzi;  2 cats- Spike & Rascal.

Interests: I love watching my grandchildren mature and going to the beach.

Craig Roberts - Registered Veterinary Technician, Operations Manager

I have had a love of animals since I can remember and always had several pets living in my room. My childhood was spent catching or observing snakes, lizards, bugs, and anything that moved. I even had a 'pet' bat for a short time. I thought it would keep the mosquito population down, but my parents had other thoughts about bats and made me set it free. My first real paying job was in a pet store in Garden Grove, CA when I was about thirteen.

A knee injury while playing church league basketball brought me into the veterinary health field from the construction industry.  Temporarily disabled and pondering my career options, I was talked into enrolling into the San Joaquin Valley College Veterinary Technology Program by a friend who was also taking the course. After graduation, I received my California RVT certification in August of 1991. I have been employed by AEUC both as a part-time technician from 1990 to 2000 and full-time in a management position since 2001.

School: - San Joaquin Valley College - Veterinary Technology Program  1990 - 1991

History of Employment:   Kern County Animal Shelter  1991 - 1997

NOR Veterinary Hospital  1997 - 2001

AEUC  1990 - Present

Hobbies: Building computers and computer gaming, movies and home theater, fishing, camping, and cooking.

Our family loves NASCAR, and I myself am a life-long Los Angeles Angels baseball and San Diego Chargers football fan.

Pets: At least 4 dogs and 4 cats.

Cindy Lee Holloway - Public Relations

Age: Too old sometimes, but young enough other times

Cindy started with AEUC as an Animal Care Specialist in 2004, and now represents the hospital as our Public Relations person. She is known to drive the staff crazy with her 'jelly rolls' and other team building activities. In her past Cindy has been a Humane Officer, and head of Frazier Mountain High School security.

Cindy adores her husband, who has been in her life for 20 years. Cindy and her husband are blessed with a wonderful daughter and son. They also are the proud grandparents of two boys. The rest of their children are four-legged and too many to name.

Hobbies, interest and pets all go together, as Cindy and her husband have ran an animal rescue for special needs animals for over 15 years. Through this experience she has had the good fortune to travel and speak with other rescues and veterinarians across the United States.
