The Animal Emergency & Urgent Care (AEUC) is an auxiliary veterinary facility. We augment your regular veterinary hospital after their regular office hours. We do not offer non-emergency services such as vaccinations, spaying, or neutering.
In most cases you will be referred to us by your regular veterinary hospital. Transporting a pet to AEUC may involve a longer drive than to your neighborhood veterinary hospital, but this inconvenience is more than compensated for by the immediate availability of a veterinarian and a fully-trained staff on the premises.
OUR PRIMARY GOAL
We provide intensive care facilities for patients that are critically ill or injured. Among emergency situations encountered are: injuries associated with bone fractures, pets hit by cars, snakebites, seizures, poisonings, burns, electrocutions, near-drownings, shock, heat stroke, heart or breathing failure, bleeding, vomiting, diarrhea, and inability to pass urine.
Immediate medical and surgical care is provided to save life, however we do not engage in complete bone and fracture repair, or extended after care. These services will be provided by your regular veterinarian. Our services also provide prompt relief from other mishaps or ailments that may not be life threatening, but are painful or a cause for concern on the part of the pet owner.
